I have been through several new developments lately, and this one really caught my eye. As Lakewood Ranch is heading south into Sarasota County, it is presenting new communities for us to discover. Entering this community, I immediately saw why it is special. You get immediate views of the two main lakes, with over 144 acres of water. The views from your lanai will be simply amazing.

I love the location, as it will put you right next to the new commercial areas coming to Lakewood Ranch. Also, if you are interested in sending children to Out of Door Academy, it is right by the development. The new connector between Fruitville and University means you can get south without having to drive on the freeway. Of course, you can head west on University to quickly take on all that University Town Center has to offer as well.
The home options are wonderful, and the views from any waterfront property will amaze you. Further, you will be able to use the lakes for several water activities. While the community has its own resort pool and fitness center, it sure seems like a great place to have a pool of your own.
While the homes and upgrade options are absolutely lovely, I will say that I didn’t see an easy way to stay below the $700,000’s when I priced out waterfront options with clients. That said, the development appears to be priced in line with the market for Sarasota County. This community will give you the best of all worlds with lakefront living, convenient access to all kinds of businesses, and still being close enough to get to the beaches when you want. Check it out!
