December 12th – Celebrate the Christmas Season
A free event featuring carriage rides, carolers, lights, and Santa, this event on Lakewood Ranch Mainstreet is a must. The entire family can look forward to sipping hot cocoa, looking at mesmerizing lights, and holiday cheer on this night.

Finally, an event that involves all members of the family. Bring your pooch and ugly sweaters to this afternoon of entertainment, food, and an extra cute Pup Parade.
December 14-23rd – Selby Gardens 16th Annual “Lights in Bloom” Celebration
Selby Gardens is a stable of Sarasota, and we are fortunate enough to be able to enjoy a beautiful garden even in the winter months in the sunshine state. Children’s games and crafts will be available to keep your little ones entertained while you take in the beauty of plants.

Strap on some jingle bells and take off on this 5k run/walk. Kids can participate with their own special race beginning at 6, an hour before the adults. Afterwards, the entire family can enjoy a post-race party with live music and yummy treats. ‘
