December shaped up with a pretty balanced result in Manatee County for single-family home sales. Closed sales and new listings were both up when compared to December 2023. Inventory levels remain solid for a balanced market, but they continued their slow upward walk in December. This is shaping up to be a reasonable busy season for the county. Whether you are buying or selling, you should have a good degree of negotiating power as long as you are putting your best foot forward towards a transaction.
